Case Study: How SEO + Facebook Ads Delivered 3.8x ROAS and 209% Organic Growth for Republic Gymnastics

How SEO & Facebook Ads Drove Local Visibility, Leads, & Revenue Growth

Background & Goals

Republic Gymnastics switched from a national agency due to lack of personal connection, unclear reporting, and poor ROI. They wanted a partner who would prioritize transparency, deliver measurable results, and integrate SEO with paid ads to drive real business outcomes. When presented with a more personalized and integrated approach, they decided to make the switch. Their main goals: improve local search visibility, generate qualified leads for gymnastics classes and seasonal programs, and grow memberships. They also wanted a holistic strategy that connected SEO, content, GMB, and Facebook Ads.

Audit Findings & Strategy

Our initial audit uncovered two major opportunities: inconsistent blogging and low Google Business Profile activity with very few posts or updates to engage local users. In addition, there was no clear integration between SEO and paid advertising, which left them missing opportunities for faster wins. To close these gaps, we designed a comprehensive growth plan that combined twice-monthly blog publishing, on-page SEO optimization, regular GMB posts, and targeted Facebook Ads.

Execution Detail

Content creation was at the heart of our SEO efforts. Blog posts like ‘Best Sports for Toddlers‘ and ‘Best Age to Start Gymnastics,’ targeted high-volume parent-focused queries. We built a content plan to post blogs twice a month and over time, these blogs began trending upward in both impressions and clicks, signaling strong alignment with user intent. Meanwhile, pages that targeted ‘Summer Camps‘ were optimized for conversions, featuring improved titles, headers, and calls-to-action.

Local SEO was another critical lever. By posting the blogs and consistently pairing them to their GMB profile — sometimes multiple times a month — we were able to more than double their profile views. GMB interactions and visibility in maps results grew substantially, giving Republic a stronger local footprint.

On the paid side, we executed Facebook Ads campaigns that delivered immediate lead flow. The January Promo campaign generated 111 leads at a cost-per-lead (CPL) of just $2.85. The Summer Campaign performed even better, driving 189 signups at a CPL of $2.65 and producing a 3.8x return on ad spend. This dual approach of SEO + ads allowed us to balance short-term wins with long-term growth.

Results & Metrics

The results of this combined strategy improved SEO performance significantly. Organic sessions grew from 693 in January to 1,657 by June — a 139% increase.

Google Search Console impressions rose from 15.6K in March to 48.2K in September, a 209% increase.

Local SEO metrics also surged, with GMB profile views rising from 3,478 to 5,836 in the same timeframe. Several blogs began trending up in clicks and impressions. Strategic content targeting parents searching for kids’ activities delivered strong growth.

Client Impact

The impact on Republic Gymnastics’ business was clear. The combination of SEO and paid advertising created both immediate and long-lasting benefits. Inquiries for classes and camps increased, memberships grew, and their brand visibility in the local community expanded significantly.
Republic Gymnastics now enjoys higher rankings, stronger local visibility, predictable lead flow, and has full confidence that their marketing dollars are driving tangible results.

Lessons & Takeaways

Several key lessons emerged from this project. First, local SEO proved to be an incredibly powerful growth driver in the youth sports space, particularly when paired with a consistent blogging strategy. Second, integrating Facebook Ads provided the client with a steady stream of leads while organic traffic scaled. Finally, the project underscored the importance of transparency and communication — by focusing on real business outcomes instead of vanity metrics, we built a trusted partnership that delivered results.

  • Local SEO + content were the biggest growth drivers
  • Paid ads amplified organic gains by filling the pipeline instantly
  • The gymnastics niche had more untapped SEO potential than expected

Future Plans

Looking ahead, Republic Gymnastics plans to continue scaling its marketing efforts. This will include publishing additional long-tail blog content, optimizing landing pages for seasonal programs, and expanding Facebook Ads campaigns to cover more offerings. Local SEO will remain a core focus, with ongoing GMB posting and review generation to further cement their reputation in the community. Together, these initiatives will sustain growth and ensure that Republic Gymnastics remains the go-to destination for gymnastics programs in their area.
